Puerto Vallarta México by UTMB is part of the UTMB World Series, bringing a thrilling trail-running experience to Mexico's Pacific coast. From March 4 to 6, 2027, runners will discover the Sierra Madre Occidental, lush jungle trails, streams and the iconic waterfront finish in Puerto Vallarta. Five distances are available: 81K, 53K, 37K, 20K and 5K. Runner check-in and race-kit collection take place March 4 and 5.

The most demanding challenges begin on Friday, March 5, 2027. Hikuri 81K features 3,900 meters of elevation gain and an unforgettable journey across mountains, forest and tropical jungle. Nakawé 53K offers 2,500 meters of elevation gain, taking runners from Puerto Vallarta's Malecón through the Sierra Madre and back toward the Pacific coast. Both races deliver an extraordinary test of endurance and adventure.

On Saturday, March 6, 2027, runners can choose from three exciting distances. Haramara 37K offers 1,600 meters of elevation gain; Ereno 20K features 1,050 meters and leads from Canopy River toward Puerto Vallarta's waterfront; and Pata Salada 5K offers a shorter 5-kilometer experience with 200 meters of elevation gain. These routes celebrate the region's natural beauty, lively atmosphere and trail-running community.
